The Interior Design Show West rolled through Vancouver in September, bringing with it a gathering of notable design houses and guest speakers such as Jonathan Adler, Tommy Smythe, and Orlando Soria. 18Karat Design Director, Zoe Garred, also spent a moment in the spotlight on the Gray Conversation stage where she was invited to weigh in on Contemporary Design and Entrepreneurship to a full crowd.

18KARAT Design Director, Zoe Garred participates in a panel discussion hosted by Gray Magazine. The beautiful stage was designed by Occupy Design, which drew standing room only crowds for many sessions throughout the event.

Amy Mckay of Pure Design Inc. was given a blank 10'x10' space in which to interpret the theme of 'workspace'. Her installation was filled with textures and sprinklings of 18Karat items. We see our Versa pots, Gemstones, Casus baskets, and Hive pot.

Medina Design House designed a DinnerxDesign fantasy dinner setting that featured a pond and fountain - in the middle of the table! 20 of our Hyacinth Stools, topped with velvety seat cushions to add an outer layer of visual punch! Now this looks like a dinner party you wouldn't want to miss.

Jamie Banfield Design styles a modern rustic kitchen with personality and 18Karat. Whoever cooks in this kitchen is a serious chef and stylista!

Kalu Interiors were also invited to interpret the theme of 'workspace' had a unique take with their eye-catching moss wall installation. We also spotted out popular Cava Vertical Folds Vase in the corner.

Another favorite spot was the breath taking ‪DinnerxDesign‬ tablescape by Twenty One Two Designs Inc., inspired by 50 Shades of Grey. We spied our Shi Marble Pedestal & Chiaroscuro Vase in the corner! Really beautiful!
